Emily Ivins
Emily has been working in the legal profession since 2015. In October 2022, Emily was admitted as a legal practitioner in the ACT Supreme Court and in January 2026, Emily joined Nicholls Anzani.
Prior to joining Nicholls Anzani, Emily worked at a first-tier family law firm under the tutelage of a market leading family lawyer who was recently appointed a Justice of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1).
Emily has developed a nuanced understanding of court processes and complex legal issues. She also understands the importance of alternative dispute resolution, advising holistically to achieve superior outcomes for our clients. Emily is an organised family lawyer who is attentive to the needs and expectations of our clients. She works closely with the Partners and Senior Associates of our firm to produce high-quality and sophisticated legal services. She is committed to guiding our clients through the family law process with clarity and empathy.
Emily is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the ACT Women Lawyers Association and the Canberra Region Family Law Professionals Association.
